My current position at FastTrack is Chief Information Security Officer.
What is your typical workweek like?
My typical week includes working with various members from the IT and Development teams, Client Service & Solutions teams, and Senior Management team to address security requirements that come from HITRUST and customers. Since information security is a multi-faceted discipline, you are likely seeing me embedding myself in a lot of areas to drive the strategic direction and tactical execution of security in FastTrack.
Do you work with any specific customers?
So far, I worked with The Standard, Principal, Swiss Re, and Dearborn to answer their security inquiries on how FastTrack handles security vulnerabilities, such as the Log4J that broke out in December. For new customers, I attest to FastTrack’s security controls in their security questionnaires and get involved in defining the acceptable security clauses in the contractual agreements.
