Meet Mariah – a star 💫 on our Claims Administrative Services (CAS) team! Mariah joined FastTrack back in 2018 as a CAS Admin. Presently, she’s helping train her team and ensure everyone’s work exceeds company standards for our carrier-partners. Mother of a beautiful one-year old little girl named Willow, Mariah thoroughly enjoys going for long walks, listening to music, and watching movies in her spare time (scroll down to find out her favorite show 🤩). 

What is your current position with FastTrack?

Claims Administrative Services (CAS) QA & Trainer. I’ve been in this position for just over 6 months. 💯

What is your typical workweek like?

My typical day is working from home. I log on at 8am and the first thing I do is check my Outlook and Teams. I then gather the information I need to complete my QA checks for the day. While I wait for the report to come (and for the Admins to finish up any final claim processing), I answer any questions my teammates may have.

Tell us about your career path with FastTrack. Have you held any other positions?

My only other position before this was a CAS Admin, but I’m excited to see what else the future holds! 🤗

How has FastTrack helped your personal and professional development?

It has helped tremendously with my confidence all around. I’m even more of a team player now and I love it.

What is something you love about working for FastTrack?

I love the closeness they keep with their employees, even now with the work-from-home environment we’re in.

What is your favorite book, movie, or show?

My favorite show is Cobra Kai! 🥋

Do you have any hobbies or special interests?

Going for walks and listening to music. It’s something I do to relax and center myself.

What type of activities are you most likely to be up to on the weekends?

Going shopping 🛍 and—depending on the weather—stopping at the park with the kids. Then maybe we would stop over a family member’s house to spend a little time with them.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

I ❤️ going to New Orleans! I also just got back from my first visit to Mexico last month.

What’s the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?

Call my mom! 😂

What is your favorite 21st century innovation?

Google and GPS. 📍

What’s something you loved doing as a kid? Do you still do it now?

Having a movie 🎥 night! It’s something we still do once a week.

Have you ever had an encounter with anyone famous?

I met the Brooklyn Nets 🏀 several years ago; I was about 9. We were lost near the arena and they came out. I remember thinking it was a bunch of giants as they got onto the bus.

What is your motto for life?

Hakuna Matata!

What are your top three most overused words/phrases?

“Period”, “I know you lying”, and “Happy friYAY!”

What’s a surprising fact about yourself?

I’m 3 years older than my oldest nephew.

If there was a movie about your life made, who would you want the narrator to be?

Samuel L. Jackson or Morgan Freeman.

Do you have any nicknames?

I have a couple but the most popular is “Riah”.
