Claims Administrative Services (CAS) Admin Specialist

Meet Jennifer – a rising star 💫 on our Claims Administrative Services (CAS) team! While only a part of the FastTrack family for about a year up to this point, Jen has made an immediate impact within her department. Her day-to-day accomplishments include the timely and accurate delivery of disability claims in a decision-ready state for our carrier-clients. Outside of work, she thoroughly enjoys playing the piano 🎹, practicing karate 🥋, and writing code 👩‍💻. Read on to learn all about Jennifer!


What is your current position with FastTrack?

I am a Claims Administration Services (CAS) Admin Specialist. I have been in this position for a little under a year now. 😊

What is your typical workday like?

I work to ensure the timely ✅ and accurate ✅ delivery of our clients’ disability claims. Our team works very hard to finish hundreds and hundreds of documents per week so our clients can adjudicate claims on time! 💪

Do you work with any specific customers?

I do not personally get to talk directly to our customers, however it nice to know we’re helping claimants in their time of need.

Tell us about your career path with FastTrack? Have you held any other position(s) within the company?

I have not yet, but I would like to keep growing with the company!

How has FastTrack helped your personal and professional development?

I have always thought that being in a professional environment means I need to work things out by myself most of the time. However, I am lucky to work with such amazing, kind, and lovely coworkers that teach me every day that I’m never alone. 🤗

What is something you love about working for FastTrack?

The balance of a friendly yet professional setting. It is really nice to go to work every day knowing that you are appreciated by your team. 🙌

Do you have any accomplishments within the organization you’re particularly proud of?

Being able to do over 60 claims per day with 98% or more accuracy! 💫

What is your favorite book, movie, or show?

I don’t have favorites as I tend to like a lot of things from specific genres. I like fantasy/action shows, movies, and books. It’s nice to wonder about things outside the possibility of our reality.

Do you have any pets?

I have a dog 🐕, his name is Cotton. He is my 13 year old White West Highland Terrier.

Do you have any hobbies or special interests?

I play piano, write code and calligraphy, and practice karate!

What type of activities are you most likely to be up to on the weekends?

Hanging out with my friends or practicing my karate and coding.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

I really want to visit Greece and the Bahamas! ✈️ 🏝

What person would you most like to switch places with for a day?

Interestingly enough, nobody! I like my life and I want to continue to grow and live it! ❤️

What’s the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?

Buy an investment property.

What is something you loved doing as a kid? Do you still do it now?

Piano and yes, I still practice it now.

Who is one of your personal heroes?

My mother 🥰. She has been my motivation and inspiration for my whole life. My dad was never around when we were kids since he worked a lot. Even though my mother worked too, she would always take the time to spend time with us and take care of us. She is the kindest and sweetest person you will ever meet.

What is your motto for life?

“Everything happens for a reason.”
