Meet Eric – a rockstar leader and stand-up individual in our sales department. 🌟 Since his first day back in June 2018, Eric has left a major impact on the success and growth of FastTrack. His keen understanding of the insurance industry and FastTrack’s technology solutions provide a perfect foundation to help FastTrack’s clients and prospects develop class-leading workflows for their unique operational needs. Eric loves passing time in various outdoor adventures and rooting for his favorite Kansas City sports teams. He’s currently working through a bucket list item that is pretty impressive if we do say so ourselves.

What is your current position with FastTrack?
Assistant Vice President – Solutions Engineering. I was promoted to this role in June 2023.
What is your typical workday like?
The majority of my time is spent working with our sales team on new business opportunities whether it be a brand-new prospect or upselling to existing clients. During on-site visits or virtual sessions, I am responsible for providing demos of our products, leading discovery sessions and presenting future state workflows. 🚀
Do you work with any specific customers?
I do not. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with all existing customers as the need arises. When the Sales team or the Client Services Director identify opportunities for process improvements, leveraging one or more of our technology suites of products, I get engaged to help document the future state process.
How has FastTrack helped your personal and professional development?
I now have a more well-rounded background when it comes to insurance experience. Prior to FastTrack, I worked 100% in the Group Insurance space specifically in Underwriting, New Business Operations and Strategic Project Support. Over the past 5+ years with FastTrack, I’ve worked 100% in the Life and Disability Claims vertical for both Group and Individual Carriers. Possessing this end-to-end industry experience, provides a unique perspective when it comes to working with Prospects and Clients on new opportunities.
Do you have any pets?
My wife and I have several “pets”. We have one dog 🐕, a Shih Tzu, named Reagan and 9 chickens 🐓 (all hens). Believe it or not, every chicken has been named. The hens are Mingo, Eric Church, Floki, Luna, Annie Laurie, Mr Tumnis, Mr Tickle…and 2 others whose names escape me. 😆 😂
Do you have any hobbies or special interests?
Fishing 🎣, Biking 🚲, Kayaking 🏞, hiking 🥾, watching KC Chiefs 🏈 games, attending KC Royals ⚾️ games, watching Missouri Tigers 🐅 Football games, and traveling.
What type of activities are you most likely to be up to on the weekends?
When the weather cooperates, the weekends are filled with church ⛪️, yard work 🌳, bike riding, kayaking, and listening to live music 🎶 at an outside venue.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
It is hard to name a favorite. I’ve enjoyed every trip to Mexico 🇲🇽 whether it be to Playa Del Carmen, Cabo or Puerto Vallarta yet the recent trip to Spain is certainly at the top of my list as well. Italy 🇮🇹 is next on the list as far as places I haven’t been to yet but want to in the near future.
What’s your favorite 21st century innovation?
There are many, but I cannot remember how we got around before GPS on our phones was invented. The apps also work when traveling abroad.
Do you have any unique or hidden talents?
Does Scuba Diving count? 🤿 😆
Who is one of your personal heroes?
My dad is a personal hero. His values, integrity and work ethic are something I have always strived to emulate. 🙌

What’s a surprising fact about yourself?
I have a bucket list item that involves going to all the Major League Baseball stadiums 🏟. I am currently at 16 out of 30. COVID slowed me down a bit, but I try to get to at least 2-3 a year. The one that I haven’t been to yet but is at the top of my list is Fenway in Boston. 🤩
