Meet Kenneth – a talented software developer at FastTrack who’s been making a strong impact since day one 💫. Kenneth plays a key role in building and refining next-gen products, collaborating closely with developers and analysts to deliver highly configurable and flexible solutions—work he’s justifiably proud of.
Beyond the code, Kenneth brings a deep passion for creativity and exploration. Whether he’s composing music in his home studio, gaming 🎮 (ask him about RuneScape or the remastered Oblivion!), or hiking the Rockies 🥾, he brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to his personal life as he does to his professional role.

What is your current position with FastTrack?
My current position is in Software Development, and I have been in the position for about eight months.
What is your typical workday like?
I mostly work on newer products for the company which involves implementing and improving new features, reviewing code, and fixing bugs. I also help with designing and planning those new features with other developers and business analysts. 🚀
Do you work with any specific customers?
The only customer I have worked with so far is Ameritas.
How has working at FastTrack helped your personal and professional development?
The projects I’ve worked on have been very interesting and challenging. Pushing through these challenges with my team has been very rewarding 💪 and has made me more confident in myself both personally and professionally. The business space was also new to me when I joined FastTrack and it’s been a great experience learning about it. 🙌
What is something you love about working for FastTrack?
I love the open communication with teammates, as well as the opportunity to work through problems either on my own or with the help of my team. 🤝
Do you have any accomplishments within the organization you’re particularly proud of?
I’m proud of the work that has been done on our upcoming products. I’ve specifically been very happy with the level of configuration and flexibility we’re going to provide for new and existing customers with these products. 📈
What is your favorite media or series?
I’m much more passionate about video games 🎮 than other forms of media. I think that one of the best video games ever created is RuneScape. I’ve played a lot of different MMORPG games and would say it’s one of my favorite genres. Some of my other favorite video games are: The Metro Series, The Monster Hunter Series, and Path of Exile.
Do you have any pets?
I have a cat 🐱 named Kona who recently turned ten years old! Even though she could be considered a senior citizen now, she is still just as hyper and sassy as when she was a kitten. 🤣
Do you have any hobbies or special interests?
My favorite hobbies are video games 🎮, writing music 🎵, fishing 🎣, and hiking 🥾. I’ve played guitar since I was a kid and have produced my own songs. I’ve also recreated the sounds for video games and movie trailers for fun. I love any audio related technology whether it’s hardware or software. 🤩
I’ve loved video games since I was young and always get excited to play the newest releases. Recently, I’ve been playing the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which was one of my favorite games growing up.
What type of activities are you most likely to be up to on the weekends?
On the weekends you would most likely find me relaxing outside in the sun 🌞 or getting lost in a new video game. I also love trying new food or new restaurants 🍽️ that I discovered over the course of the week.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
One of my favorite vacations was a trip to Colorado where I got to hike through the Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains. ⛰
I would love to visit Greece in the future.
What’s the first thing you would do if you won the lottery?
If I won the lottery, the first thing I’d do is build my dream music studio fully equipped with all the gear I could ever want, from synthesizers to instruments and the best hardware. 🤑
What is your favorite 21st century innovation?
Having GPS readily available on smartphones 📱 is incredibly useful and it’s definitely one of my favorite innovations.
What’s something you loved doing as a kid? Do you still do it now?
I used to love going on camping trips ⛺️ when I was a kid, but it’s something I haven’t done in a long time. I’ve thought about getting some gear and getting back into it, but I just haven’t taken the plunge yet.
Do you have any unique or hidden talents?
One unique talent of mine is that I’ve always been an exceptionally fast typist. I can probably average somewhere between 170 to 190 words per minute. 🤯
Have you ever had an encounter with anyone famous?
I once ran into David Ortiz while grocery shopping. After taking a photo with him, he unexpectedly asked me where’s the cereal aisle. Which caught me off guard. 😝
What’s a surprising fact about yourself?
I genuinely enjoy building furniture or anything that comes in a box with parts and instructions. 🔨🔩 🧰 🪑
If there is a movie about your life made, who would you want the narrator to be?
I would have to choose Ralph Ineson. I think his voice is really unique and would add a lot of character to my story.
